Here are some highlights from yesterday. It was hot. Photos taken on my phone which I couldn’t see the screen of in the sun, so some are a bit wonky.
There is always an incredible number of old English cars at this show
The nearest one has a supercharged ecotec in it
Interior of the above Isuzu Impulse. So many buttons. So much better than touch-screens.
Was someone looking for a red Porsche?
They were celebrating 50 years of the 2002 and I am not exaggerating to say there were hundreds of them.
Big Mustang is Best Mustang.
The 5-speed shifter of the above SM

That’s a nice first gen RX7. I believe those are going to rally in the next couple years to something just below any similar 240z.

The highest o

around, of course! It was very unusual.

Friend of mine has one (also guards red, not as clean) he’s been on the fence about selling

There were a couple old
fiats - a couple spiders and a nicely restored original
500. I don’t have any pictures, though.

I hope so, that’s mine in the background haha - the SA pictured was super clean and completely stock.

Oh nice! I’ve got the thought but you followed through well before me!!!

I didn't look to me like anyone would actually fit comfortably between the seat and the windshield.

The roof wraps around a decent amount and the glass is raked, I bet someone could fit in there. It’d be a little stuffy with the top up, though.

Saw an immaculate turbo o ne at a car show yesterday. G uards red, turbo twists... I think that might be my dream Porsche, barring some too-unbelievable-to-even-consider Singer.
Price range is one of the largest I’ve seen for non-exotics though. My local Craigslist has $1k running beaters, $3k non-running good paint/special editions, $7 k 8/10 well-sorted out ones, hardcore autocross builds at $10k , immaculate turbos in the high teens and low $ 20k ’s and then concours level in the $30k ’s

Holy shit that’s a good turnout. This is ‘Murica right? So few American cars, so many DS’ with the proper lights!

Yessir, Pittsburgh,
Pennsylvania,
USA. It’s a great show because it really does draw a lot of international variety, sure it’s 50% German but it’s still way
better than
most shows which are entirely 40's through 70's american cars (which are cool, but it’s good to see something different now and then). These pictures are a very small sample of what was there - it fills an entire golf
course
.

Turbos are way expensive compared to the N/A versions, but the prices are all over the place like you say. They have some unusual designs here and there that can make service difficult/costly as well.
I’ve driven my friend’s (and been a passenger many time) and it’s a fun car. Not fast by any means,
but the thing is basically glued to the road.

Nice pictures! I should have mine together sometime this week.

That was an odd amount of super clean stock ish cars. I’m a fan.

Believe it or not same deal here. So many car shows in Australia are Mustangs and Corvettes, or Australian muscle in the same vein.
I’m actually that impressed. Isuzu and the Cosmo, M1 and the “M6s”, the Vortex and SM...Esprit...

I looked up Jake Ryan and found a linebacker who could eat three people and still have room for dessert. I'm guessing that's a different guy...

Jake Ryan is also a fictional character in “Sixteen Candles”, Molly Ringwald’s crush, who drove a red 944 .
It’s an 80s thing:
(had to add it for the lovely XJ6, John Huges was a master at casting cars.
